Geoff Allen, Principal at altaCloud, has twenty years of experience working with ERP and CRM systems in the wholesale distribution, manufacturing, and retail vertical markets. His experience includes software implementation, functional design and logistical operations management consulting. He has worked with over 75 companies on both domestic and international projects.
Implementing ERP and CRM systems in a variety of verticals has given Geoff in depth knowledge of the specific processes and best practices that drive each company’s efficiencies. His specialties include order management, merchandising, marketing, procurement and supply chain management. While working with software companies, his responsibilities included project management, process discovery documentation, fit/gap analysis, functional design and specification, testing and implementation of new process management. His involvement in implementing these systems included software configuration, hardware installation and storage configuration.
Geoff believes that strong implementations are a direct result of the strong relationships built with the client. His experience in the management of a multichannel retail business gives him a unique understanding of the challenges retailers face in today’s marketplace. This understanding aids in the effective communication with client from the end user, technical resources, and the C level decision maker.
